02. Key Responsibilities: The Project
Officer- Engineering & Monitoring will be responsible for project activities
at Union/Upazila level and responsible for the implementation of the project in the operational area including management of administration and finance of the
office. Working in close collaboration with the Project Coordinator, He will
ensure effective and efficient use of the project resources through timely
budget preparation, and timely implementation of the project activities against
target and take corrective measures and when required.

Programme Implementations
|
- Prepare specification, drawing, and design WASH technologies/ intervention and prepare associated technical
documents i.e. cost estimation, BoQ, tender document, etc.;
- Supervise the construction work, Monitoring
and quality control and ensure WASH hardware activities as appropriate in the local context;
- Ensure mobile-based monitoring and real-time
data entry using mobile/tab;
- Review existing technologies and analyze them for
better performance;
- Organize and facilitate training on the Operation
and Maintenance of Water and Sanitation options;
- Prepare hardware progress reports weekly and monthly according to the work plan for the concerned authority;
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Communicate with UPs & other stakeholders.
- Execute the project implementation plan in
the field effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare weekly and monthly work plans on a regular basis considering project plans with proper authorization.

- Effector functions of field office management in all respects.
- Maintain a congenial and comfortable environment and atmosphere in the field or
project office.

office documents and film preservation.

Union coordination meetings and any other meeting at the Union level related
to the project activities.

accordance with the project policies and strategies, rental fees and
other useful materials.

Coordination
& Communication
|
- To
assist conduct group meetings regularly and motivate them to achieve the
project activities.
- Coordinate
the preparatory activities of the project, including participatory
planning, selection of the villages, technical survey & target stakeholders.
- Advocacy
and communication with government officials as per project activity.
- Quick
massage delivery for immediately related field level.

Reporting
|
- To
assist prepare different reports & need base documents.
- Ensure
preparation of all periodic reports on implementation progress, including
financial reports.
- Regular
and timely prepared Monthly, Quarterly, half-yearly, and annual &
compilation reports, preservation and submission of the report to PC.
- Collect
regular event pictures, case studies, press and other documents at the field
level.

Financial management-related task
|
- To
assist PC/PO-Finance & Accounts prepare each of event budget
breakdown as per approval project budget head.
- To
ensure the local purchase and expenditure have to be done as per
organizational Finance/purchase policy.
- Prepare all bill-voucher and submit them to PO (F&A) for necessary
action.

Visitor's face

- Necessary
action to develop field visibility for the donor's face.
- To assist
Project Coordinator, prepare the visit schedule;
- To
arrange local transportation and other administrative procedure to visit;
- To share
community people & local level initiative and effectiveness as per
project guidelines.

Others
|
- Performed
as a member of the team and in close collaboration with UPs and Union Wash
Promoters.

Directly report to the Project Coordinator & collaboration with the project key person Finance & Admin Officer, Social Mobilization, UP
Chairman, UP Members, Local leaders, Local NGOs and other target stakeholders.
