I. Organization: RUPANTAR. Position: Project Coordinator-Child Led Development Project. Duration: December 17, 2009, to December 31, 2010. Location: Lalmonirhat, Funded by: Plan Bangladesh.
Responsibilities:
- To build awareness of child rights, child marriage protection, education, cultural engagements, advocacy, and civic engagement.
- Community mobilization on the sponsorship program, imparting training programs, facilitating children's organizations, and functioning standing committees of Union Parishad.
- Established child groups, clubs, and cultural teams for enhancing child rights through training, day observation, cultural interventions, etc.

- Coordinated successful project implementation for the empowerment of ultra-poor women and girls.

- Distributed food aid commodities through the field staff effectively in collaboration with DPE and school teachers.
- Checked warehouses physically including warehouse staff performance in keeping food aid and other facilities of warehouses.
- Coordinated with DPE, WFP & EU personnel concerned about the project interventions and administration.

- Contributed to reducing absenteeism of 405 primary school students by supplying biscuits.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinated implementation and management of successful interventions to ensure sustained handwashing practices among primary school children through awareness campaigns on handwashing practices in 5 critical times at the Rajshahi division.
- To promote School WASH facilities, hygiene awareness, and practices, unable to sustain the use of hygienic and implement an intensive handwashing campaign in selected primary schools.

Responsibilities:
- Organized Partner Union Parishad’s program in a useful manner and ensured outreach activities, particularly community clinics at the unions and Upazila level, Also worked and advocated with local level key stakeholders in health and local government for upholding WASH Health issues.
- Coordinated to strengthen the capacity of health workforces and local-level health service systems and to improve the health issues associated with poor WASH conditions.
- Ensured capacity-building support to selected UPs, Community Clinics, CGs, CSGs, CSOs, and Volunteers to enhance wider support to the community people.
- Organized different types of training, meetings, workshops, seminars, and conferences at the District. Upazila and unions level to meet the project objectives.
- Coordinated mobile-phone-based monitoring & information system (mPMIS) and data management.

- 50 thousand community people are aware of handwashing in 5 critical times.
- 20000 sanitary napkins are distributed among the 75 school students and 38 wheelchairs are provided at the community clinic through advocacy.

- Coordinated to strengthen the skills of poor women to plan and manage their businesses i.e. shops, cow and poultry rearing, fish culture, small business, etc.
