COVID-19/CORONA free patient experience

 

My name is Mizanur Rahman Akand, Age 43. I am a Bangladeshi citizen. I live in the district of Meherpur, The district is located southern-west part of Bangladesh near the India Border. More than 7 lac people live in the district. Most recently I rid of COVID-19 disease. I would share my experience that you guys might help from my knowledge.  

On 13-14 August 2020, I feel a fever. My body temperature was not more than 100 degrees. Sometimes I feel body pain, headache, and stomach pain, feel cold, loose motion, less interest in the meal, odor, fatigue, and so on. But it was tolerable for me. 

I think the problem will end soon. Very common medicines I took as usual. My supervisor advised me to test for COVID-19. On 19 August 2020, I provide my sample. After 5 days 24 August 2020 Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) declared to me that I am CORONA positive. It was shocking and unpredictable. I was afraid.

My doctor advises me to follow the prescription. I have maintained some rules like-stay at-home quarantine and kept social distancing and personal distancing. Gargle and drink hot water mixed with black pepper, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and salt. The water stems taken found good results in this disease. The hot water bag used during rest time makes me very happy. Besides, regular prayer to ALMIGHTY makes me mentally peaceful.

No fear, dear. Hang onto the calm and follow the rule. Keep an eye on expert opinion. Don’t be panicked. Necessary support from family members is very important. We should care about the safety and security of family members. Finally, I do free from COVID-19 on 09 September 2020. 


In Bangladesh CORONA patients are seen with bad eyes, and social acceptance might looser by himself or herself.  Fear is found in the eyes of other community people that they may be affected by COVID-19. Due to less awareness or knowledge of COVID-19 people do like it.

We have limited resources so we need to keep in mind to optimum use of resources. The system should improve adequate service in COVID-19 control. The test result should soonest be delivered to the respective patient. Supervision and monitoring must be enhanced due to accountability for particular duty bearers.

A single death is unexpected over the Globe. Be happy and stay safe.
